Joey and Visitors from Maine

My View of Life on the Dock

Another glorious day on Sunday. Rick and I went kayaking in Gloucester Harbor. We love having lunch on Ten Pound Island. So blessed to live here.

World Cup Fever Has Hit The Offices of GMG!
A recent Pickup Game has left a few of us Battered and Bruised so I’m taking some time off after this Game.
It was’nt a fair Match up, Three against two.

VS.
Frank Ciolino, Sharon Lowe, Joey
I Still Can’t figure out who won.
Can You?
If Joey was a Dog.
Actually, the Dog seems to have better table manners.

Just ran down Capt Joes and took a series of shots and merged them into an HDR photo. I will post a tutorial on how to do this in a future post.
This is a non HDR image. And yes, Joey is the hardest working man in show business..or blog business.
Gotta run and get ready for tonight at Captain Carlo’s for the JJ Nicastro Benefit. Come see Exit 11 and Earl Foote.

Yesterday I was down at Capt. Joe’s. Hangin’ with Joey is always interesting.
His lobstermen yell up to his office through a window. Joey’s mail gets to the mailman by bucket. Ya just never know who’s coming it to bait up. So anyway, I’ll post a slideshow at noon today. Check it out!

I got up early again this morning and stopped down by Capt. Joe’s. It was about 7:00 and the sun, not as bright as yesterday, softly warmed the cove.
I absolutely love this time of day, especially on the weekends. And Spring is definitely on its way. The birds are extremely animated. Everywhere I go – sparrows, crows, gulls, woodpeckers, cardinals, chickadees, geese, buffleheads, ducks – a beautiful cacophony.
