Our friend Joey took advantage of our absence from the podcast recently to throw some shade my way regarding Keith the Wreath and his new Instagram account (@KeithIsAWreath). To fill in the story a bit, Keith the Wreath is a little gimmick I was using to show familiar Gloucester sights and stories with a new twist. He has a bit of a following here on GMG as well as in my own Facebook world, so I created his own Instagram account as a creative outlet. I hope you will show Joey Keith’s popularity by giving it a follow on Instagram. Believe it or not, “Keith The Wreath” was already taken (someone beat me to it) so search for KeithIsAWreath on Instagram to watch his adventures. Please!
Also, just because I am who I am, I had to take Keith a step further and now Aretha is in the mix as a childhood friend of Keith’s. They will have some distinct preferences and you will be seeing them together on adventures here on the blog as well as on Instagram! So, Keith is large and brilliant red; Aretha is smaller and sparkling blue. They make very pretty pictures together.

Through the generous support of donors, tuition and fees will be waived in their entirety for the Academy’s incoming class of 2023. In addition, qualifying students will receive stipends to help support their living expenses.
The Academy trains young adults for professional careers as life sciences laboratory technicians. Students spend seven months of hands-on learning in a state-of-the-art teaching facility located in Gloucester’s Blackburn Center, followed by a three-month paid internship at a biotech company in Boston, Cambridge, or the North Shore.
Spaces are still available for the incoming class of 2023, with start dates in both August and November. The program is open to students between the ages of 18 and 30 with a high school diploma or equivalent —…

Wanted to share with you a couple of Cape Ann history blog posts I recently completed that I think you might find interesting:
This one is about the cursed Gloucester fishing schooner “hoodoo ship” Charles Haskell:

Keep up the good work!

Can we get these at Licka Locka?
We’re gonna need to do a thorough taste test review on the next GloucesterCast.
