TREAT for YOU. Our Famous Sewing Circle Chicken Tetrazzini will be available for

TAKE OUT- Choose either FROZEN OR UNFROZEN. Have it for lunch or dinner on Dec. 3

or put it in your freezer for a cold wintery day. Come early before they are gone!

A crane is poised next to the damaged turbine in the Blackburn Industrial Park. We understand the turbine’s remaining blades and hub will be removed. Applied Materials continues to investigate the cause of the failure and plans to keep the remaining portion in place meanwhile. Residents awoke one morning in July to notice that one of the blades had fallen off but there was blessedly little damage. The red crane is noticeable all over the city!

It appears the process is underway for the new senior housing units at the former site of the YMCA on Middle Street in Gloucester. I understand there are to be 40+ units with some parking and senior services coming to the site soon. I have no further details yet.

Kate and I are going to feature one or two local places to buy holiday gifts each day highlighting the fact that there’s no need to buy your presents online or trudge up to the mall.

There’s excellent places to shop right here in Gloucester.

Artist Statement:
A Day at the Museum

This exhibit focuses on art, people and place. 
Artists need an audience – museums set the stage.
Be an actor in this theater!

Tom Robinson-Cox developed a passion for photography while a student at Mount Hermon School. He studied photography with Minor White and Dr. Harold Edgerton as an undergraduate at MIT.  He is a member of the Concord Art Association, Marblehead Arts Association, Newbury Art Association & Museum, Rockport Art Association & Museum, and the Rocky Neck Art Colony.  He has won numerous awards for his fine art photography.

Pat D’s Photos is excited to be attending the Magnolia Holiday Fair this Saturday Nov 19 from 9:30 – 2 at the Magnolia Library, hosted by the Magnolia Women’s Club. Notecards, prints, coasters, playing cards, ornaments and glass prints featuring Gloucester scenes will be available. If you haven’t started holiday shopping, this is a great opportunity.
