The GHS Girls Basketball team season came to an end with loss to Danvers in the 1st round of the playoff’s.  These young ladies play the entire season with their HEARTS & SOULS.

What Is This Some Kind of Foreplay I Haven’t Heard About Yet?

What kind of sadistic broad goes and whacks her mate to wake him up?

I don’t even want to know what happens thirty seconds after the guy gains consciousness.   Like if you gotta resort to the whole whacking your mate in the face trick to get them aroused, you may as well give up sex, no?

Who does this?

Phyllis A From Bill Cox

Thanks again for all your support! Thought I’d send something in for the blog besides another fundraiser flyer and took some photos this past Saturday while we were doing some work.  I haven’t sent pictures in to you before so if there is something else you need me to do, just let me know!

I think I would title it: Even in the dead of winter, there is work being done on the Phyllis A.

Thanks and have a good one!

Joëlle Williams and Rebecca Sly are organizing a fundraising shopping event at Sea Again consignment (14 Dock Square, Rockport) on March 3rd from 2 – 6 to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Sea Again will be offering 20% off everything all day with 10% of sales going to the charity.

We will have the stylist, Muffy White, there to help the ladies pick out a fabulous outfit.  Upstairs there will be a massage therapist, Jenny Rangan, giving 15 minute chair massage for $15 from 2 – 4 (all proceeds go to charity).  Shoppers will also find a representative from Thirty One Gifts, Stella & Dot Jewelry and Rodan + Fields Skin Care for their shopping pleasure (a portion of all proceeds will go to charity).

There will be appetizers graciously donated by Beach Gourmet plus wine and desserts.  We also have some really great raffle and silent auction items.  To name just a few:

  • A framed photographic print the Twin Lights by the talented photographer Eoin Vincent
  • A beautiful pair of silver and pearl earrings donated by Jamie Russell

Muffy is an absolute monster.  With her jacked hubby Tad pushing her I thought there was absolutely no way to keep up.   I took the turtle approach.  Slow and steady for the win.  There is no doubt about it The MyZone belt and the reports pushed me to exert at least 40% more energy just based on the accountability and reports it generates after each workout and seeing where you stand on the screens as you’re working out.

Can’t recommend trainng with the MyZone belt enough.

Our buddy Ray Ray wears one too, I’d like to hear her perspective.

6th place out of 24, I’m pretty happy with that.

If anyone wants to challenge me to another MyZone challenge let me know and we can maybe put together a prize for the winner or some wagering 🙂

O’Maley Innovation School Production, Little Mermaid Junior Promo Video From Jason Grow

The O’Maley Innovation Middle School’s Performing Arts Department cordially invites members of the Cape Ann Community to attend our upcoming production of Disney’s Little Mermaid Junior.

Performance dates and times are as follows and tickets can be purchased at the door.

Since September, our cast and crew of almost one hundred 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students have been rehearsing twice every week after school.  You will be inspired by the talent and exuberance radiating from these young performers singing, dancing, and acting out this popular and heartwarming story.   Performing Arts classes during O’Maley’s school day focus on developing students’ 21st Century Skills and Common Core mastery through an interdisciplinary, project-based curriculum that utilizes the mediums of Theater, Music and Dance. This production is an excellent showcase of our department’s extra-curricular offerings, which focus on developing standards in the disciplines of Music (Chorus), Dance, and Theatre within a performance setting.

See you at the show!

Yet Another Simply Divine Confection from Sista Felicia

Help Felicia–I was too busy eating these tantalizing beauties and forgot to ask the name?

Sista Felicia Divine Confection ©Kim Smith 2013

The cake is made with almond paste, which makes them perfectly moist, apricot preserves between the layers, then topped with a paper thin layer of rich dark chocolate on both the top and bottom–and yes, I am happy to report, this recipe is going to be in her cook book!
