Meet Chelsea Berry

Chelsea Berry is a singer/songwriter with incredible edge, power, and finesse. Her presence has been described by listeners as “compelling… she draws the entire house into her world like moths to a flame.” Born and raised in Alaska, she now makes her home on Boston’s North Shore.

A favorite among venue owners up and down the East coast, Chelsea’s commanding stage presence and energetic rock/folk/pop sound has begun bringing her across the U.S. as regular support for Livingston Taylor as well as headliner of her own shows from California to Washington, Minneapolis, New York, and everywhere in between.

Along with her solo shows, Chelsea frequently supports artists such as Chris Isaak, Jonathan Edwards, Jon Butcher, Chris Smither, Cheryl Wheeler, Marshall Crenshaw, Patty Larkin, and many others.

I’m just going to back away slowly…

This little crab was on Good Harbor Beach with seagulls circling ‘round and one just starting to peck him. He was moving slowly. I put him in shallow water under a rock ledge. Don’t know if that saved the little guy, but it didn’t seem right to stand by and watch him slowly get pecked to death. May he live a long life, or at least a longer one!

PERENNIAL PLANT SALE SWAP AND GIVE AWAY!

image016

Stacy Blvd (By the Fishermen’s Wives Memorial)

Saturday October 3rd 2015 from 9am to 11am

Bring a plant and get a plant or just get a great deal for new color in next year’s garden. This is not a typical plant sale.  A sample of plants available are nepeta (catmint), daisies from behind the police station and various daylilies all from local gardeners and gardens.  Now is the perfect time to dig and divide.  Change your garden this year for free! The first 50 attendees will receive a free plant.  Proceeds will be used to maintain the public planting areas in Gloucester.

On Sunday – we will be planting 500 daffodil bulbs and around 50 donated hosta at O’Maley Innovation Middle School from 10-12.  Please join us if you can help.

Contact Susan Kelly Susan@GenerousGardeners.org for more information or if you would like to be on our mailing list.
