I took myself to the Franklin Park Zoo recently because I hadn’t been there and I was in a mood to see the animals. I know there are differing opinions about the benefit (or detriment) of zoos and I understand these viewpoints, but I just love zoos. I like watching the animals and the other visitors’ reactions. And I like taking their pictures. The Franklin Park Zoo is reasonably priced ( my senior ticket was about $17) and parking is free (though I had a bit of a hard time finding the parking). It’s small-ish and easily done in a day, including travel. Maybe you’ll give it a try too. Stone Zoo next on my list! And, now that March has arrived, will it be coming in like these lions?

Joey’s take:
So you could bet $180 to win $100 that he’ll play for New England
Bet $100 to win $750 if he plays for the Chargers.
My gut says he stays in New England where his legacy is. i think he’d take a couple million less per year to stay with the Patriots but not 5 million or more less.
Only a couple other places other than New England I could see him going would be:
The Chargers because LA would be a cool place for Gizelle and his family and there are offensive weapons. they’re opening a new stadium and might throw ALL the money at him to fill seats much like the Raiders.
The Titans because of Vrabel and having a great offensive line and Henry the beast running back that would take a lot of defensive attention away from the passing game.
Long shot Vegas…

I track and bid at auctions because I help people buy art. From time to time I highlight here on GMG a few selections from upcoming auctions, fairs and shows solely because they have some Gloucester (Cape Ann) connection. In the early spring sales at two New York auction houses, artists include: Emma Fordyce MacRae, Gifford Beal, Jane Peterson, John Sloan, Lillian Westcott Hale, Paul Manship, W. Lester Stevens and Martha Walter.

Featuring works from the Patrick and Carlyn Duffy collection (yes that’s actor Patrick Duffy) some great ones failed to find a just right home at the live sale back in 2018.

Most of the sale is beyond Gloucester. The couple had a few classic Wyeths. — See all 119 lots here.
