One of our favorite Sunday dinner destinations is Oliver’s Harbor on Main Street. Indoor and outdoor seating with great street views is available in this relaxed atmosphere. If you prefer the bar area, it’s beautiful and equipped with several big screen TVs. The service is always friendly and efficient. Thanks to our server last Sunday, Hannah, we had a wonderful dinner experience. I ordered the sirloin and Jim got scallops and a Berry Cob Salad. I nearly forgot to take a picture of the salad, so this photo isn’t representative of a FULL salad but it represents the yumminess! Some kind of pear pie rounded out Father’s Day for Jim. Thanks again, Oliver’s!

In this week’s edition of Harmeling PT’s Meet the Family series, we’re getting to know Elizabeth Norcini! Elizabeth has been with the practice since 2016, starting first as a rehab aide in our Wenham office, and working her way up to managing the front desk in our Gloucester location!
Elizabeth graduated from Gordon College in 2016, with a BS in Kinesiology. She ran on the cross country team during her time there, and was able to stay involved with the program after graduating by helping out as an assistant coach for Gordon’s cross country and track and field teams for 2 years. Elizabeth grew up in Pennsylvania, but has lived on the North Shore since college. She loves the outdoors, and especially enjoys exploring all the trails and beaches in and around the North Shore. She has worked at Harmeling for the past 5 years and is consistently encouraged and energized…

Born in Rochester, NY in 1941, Adolphus Hailstork grew up in Albany where he studied violin, piano, organ and voice. He currently resides in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
He began his studies in composition at Howard University and then attended the American Conservatory at Fontainebleau, France, where he studied with Nadia Boulanger. He received his Bachelor and Master of Music from the Manhattan School of Music and received his PhD in composition from Michigan State University.
Dr. Hailstork taught at Michigan State University, then served as professor at Youngstown State University in Ohio and then became professor of music and Composer-in-Residence at Virginia’s Norfolk State University. He is currently a professor emeritus of music and Composer-in-Residence at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia.
He composes in all forms: symphonic works and tone poems for orchestra; concertos and numerous chamber works; duos for such combinations as horn and piano, clarinet and piano, flute and piano; numerous songs; band works and many pieces for piano and pipe organ.
His works blend musical ideas from both the African American and European traditions. His most recent work is “A Knee on the Neck,” a requiem cantata for George Floyd, one of many compositions that reflect his engagement with Black history. His Sonata Di Chiesa which we will hear on July 18 is an especially rich and romantic work for strings.
It’s so peaceful watching our schooners sail by. The Ardelle is a beauty! Their webpage seems to be a little outdated but I imagine you can call for updates regarding public sails.

CATA is testing an electric bus this week. And here is the scoop!
What do YOU think about electric buses for Cape Ann? Contact Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) and give them your feedback. Phone: (978) 283-1886Email: WebbF@canntran.com
Did you know that transportation accounts for 29% of greenhouse gas* emissions in Massachusetts? Transitioning to electric vehicles, and powering them with renewable energy, is an excellent way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
*Greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels are causing climate change, the gases trap heat in the atmosphere and warm the planet.
