TUFFY’s Rare Lobster Story
Today we caught a very rare
Calico lobster 🦞. Female.
I brought from the sea to Sierra. She loves animals and especially rare creatures.
She will be making a nice home, with structure and feeding healthy.
To be shared for observation with College students at the Laboratory here in Nahant.

This Week at The Cut!
~ THE CUT LIVE ~
Friday it’s one show, with THREE musicians! Aidan Gittings Blues Band, Christian Smith, and Walshy will each perform a set up on The Cut stage! Doors are at 7pm. Show is at 7:45pm. This is an ALL AGES show! So feel free to bring the young music-lover in your life! Tickets are still available.
We’ll also have live music in the restaurant starting at 8pm. No Cover.
Saturday Paul D’Angelo returns to The Cut stage, this time with Paul Gilligan. The Pauls will be treating us to a night of comedy that is not to be missed. We’ve added more seats, and Paul’s added new material. There are still some tickets available, so grab yours before they’re gone. Doors are at 6:30pm. Show is at 7pm.
We’ll also have DJ Reel Drama in the restaurant from 9pm – Close. No Cover.
Sunday is your chance to experience thrift store fashion at it’s very best with Thrift The Runway – all in support of The Open Door! There are still a few standing room tickets available, so don’t wait! This show is 14+. Doors are at 6pm. Show is at 6:30pm.
As always, Little Sister will be serving their Best of The North Shore award-winning burgers (and so much more) starting at 5pm each night. Come early and grab food before the show or stay late and refuel after dancing! They offer a late-night menu on Friday and Saturday nights.

Goodnight, East Gloucester
Goodnight, East Gloucester. I just moved from Magnolia to East Gloucester. While there are a couple of things I’ll miss about my old neighborhood, this new sweeping harbor view is pretty spectacular. I hope to spend lots of time watching the activity in the harbor. I’ve already had the opportunity to see both of my boys come and go in and out of the harbor while working on their respective boats.

Final Margarita Monday At Oliver’s Harbor
For our final Margarita Monday of 2025, we stopped for lunch at Oliver’s Harbor on Main St which was open on Labor Day Monday. We were not disappointed. I love the lunch menu! I had the sausage sandwich and Jim had the eggplant sandwich. The margarita was served in a chilled ice-cold glass and was super refreshing. We always enjoy the atmosphere there and the friendly service. Cheers to Oliver’s!

A perfect gentleman, he regularly sits regally with crossed paws and back legs stretched out in a splooting position. Life circumstances have led him to CAAA through no fault of his own, but he is ready for a new family and a second chance at life. Housebroken since day one, Paca’s a pro at indoor manners. He also makes a great car ride buddy, as he doesn’t get car sick and has taken many road trips in his life.
