Happy Hot Chocolate Days!
Aren’t snow days simply the best? I think I looked forward to them as much as did my kids. As a working mom a snowy day meant magical extra time off with my children, and was a day made even more festive when accompanied by cups of warm cocoa. Most times we made hot chocolate with mini marshmallows and/or with a few drops of essence of peppermint but if I had chocolate squares and heavy cream on hand to whip, we made it our favorite Parisian-style.

Charlie’s Place Odor Of Smoke Reported
Hi Joey
On Friday 1/31/14 an odor of smoke in the building was reported at
Charlie’s Place restaurant on Bass Ave. about 5:00 pm. The latter was
put up to check the HVAC system on the roof as well as checking the
building. I don’t think a cause was found. Recall was sounded soon
after.

There’s A Reason the Causeway Restaurant Is Ranked 5th our of 127 Restaurants In Gloucester On trip Advisor
I have no idea how they put out the quality food and huge portions that they do at The Causeway but I’m not about to question it- the formula just works. People drive from Upstate New York just to eat here.
Insider tip:
This is the time of year to eat here. I don’t even bother in the summer because I’m not the kinda guy that waits a half hour for a seat at a restaurant. But this time of year you can get in, especially if you go just before noon or just after noon.

When was the last time you had yourself some tasty Spotted Dick? As far as Spotted Dick brands go, you gotta go with Heinz over Hunt’s, right? What kind of savage buys Hunt’s over Heinz anyway?
