My View of Life on the Dock
Very windy and cold but the ocean is always pretty.

Love these sculptures from Kris Francis.

Stacy Boulevard was beautiful on Thursday afternoon. The wind was wild, and the temperature was bone chilling.

On Sunday the weather went through many different weather patterns. We had rain, sun, clouds and sometimes it was raining and the sun out at the same time. On Shore Road, Sunday afternoon there was a faint rainbow. Love New England weather.

Grillfriends on Lexington Avenue, Magnolia, Gloucester, MA is so good. On Sunday morning Rick and like to go for breakfast. This morning, I had a Veggie Scrambled Egg bowl. So good.

This little guy came onto to Magnolia Beach to rest on Saturday. Rebecca who is the from the Shellfish Constable Office, with a background in sea mammals, came to do a well check on this young seal. Rebecca was very efficient and knowledgeable with regards to making sure this young gray seal was safe. She explained to beach walkers to stay at least 150 feet away from the seal, especially dogs off leash. The seal can get very stressed with dogs and people getting too close. Faith from the animal control stayed with the seal to make sure the seal was safe. Both of these city employees showed compassion for the seal and explaining to people why to stay away. The seal can get very stressed with dogs and people getting too close.

This little bird hit my front door on Thursday. I picked this little one up and let the stun of hitting the window go away. After a few minutes the little bird was able fly away.

Even though the weather has been iffy this week, there is always time for a quick walk to Magnolia Landing.

Sunday was another New England day. Rain, wind and then there was another incredible surprise sunset.
Before the sun went down.

After

The wind was howling, and the air was freezing; but the sunsets exceed the cold.

The golden sand at sunset. The temperature was 51 degrees. So nice not to be shivering.
