Sundogs are colored spots of light that develop due to the refraction of light through ice crystals. They are located approximately 22 degrees either left, right, or both, from the sun, depending on where the ice crystals are present.

Since there has been no sun for a week, the ever-faithful group, still takes a walk patiently waiting for the red sky.

On Tuesday when walking on Shore Road as the sun was going down, no color in the sky. The sunset club at Magnolia Pier keeps hoping for some color. Maybe over the weekend.

These sculptures on Magnolia Avenue are so fun. The artist Kris Francis is so talented. He uses Repurposed Metal and recycled metal.

Three hours after high tide on Shore Road, Monday. I think I am obsessed with stormy oceans.

Love taking a walk on Magnolia Beach at the end of the day.

Love walking the pier at sunset. The designs from the sun are fun to see.

What a great day on Saturday visiting the ice sculptures, retail stores and restaurants participating in this fun event. Even though it was chilly, lots of people walking around and enjoying this event. Of course, visiting our fabulous Cape Ann Museum. Every time we visit the Museum, we enjoy it more and more.

When walking on Shore Road, saw Phil Keating taking a swim. Phil has plunged in the cold water before. He is a very nice guy and very funny. Congratulations to Phil for doing what most of us would run to a heated car.
It was getting dark and windy, so the photos are a little grainy.
