30 year old Bird of Paradise Plant Flourish

IMG_5810

This Bird of Paradise Plant has flourished for over 30 years.  This year we have 4 flowers.  In the summer it is moved out to the patio outside, and every three years we trim it’s roots and resize back into the pot.  Lots of love and care rewards us with flowers each winter.

Magnolia Pier

Information regarding the Magnolia Pier

Pier update: working with BTT Marine on their plan to bring in a crane so they can put in the remaining 16 piles. The crane will be on private property and city property so they still need the city engineer’s approval. If they get approval they hope to start February 14.
