Stacy Boulevard after rain

It rained in the morning and then the sun came out. On the Boulevard it was clear and near Mile Marker it was still foggy.

For some reason the hummingbirds seem to like the feeder in the rain.

  1. Mix 1 part sugar with 4 parts water (for example, 1 cup of sugar with 4 cups of water) until the sugar is dissolved
  2. Do not add red dye
  3. Fill your hummingbird feeders with the sugar water and place outside
  4. Extra sugar water can be stored in a refrigerator
  5. Change feeders every other day and thoroughly clean them each time to prevent harmful mold growth

Beach weekend

So lucky and blessed to be able to walk to a beach and enjoy.   If you look at the photo with the float, there is a woman, whom by the way is a very funny person, she is blowing up the float.  She told me it takes her almost an hour.  Love the beach.

The beach is my happy place, as most people know.  To be able to enjoy the beach even if just an hour puts me in the present.

On Monday it started to thunder and lightning late in the afternoon.  Of course, I went and sat in my truck for 5 minutes and the sun came back out.
