Wolfhound – an Old Breed from Ireland

Irish Wolfhound, enjoys a walk on the backshore.  It got it’s name based on it’s purpose, hunting wolves with dogs.  A very large dog with a sweet disposition.

Whale Baleen Plate Washed ashore

A portion of a whale’s baleen plate with the fine hairs washed ashore on the backshore during the high tide yesterday.  May be parts of the whale that washed ashore back in September of this year.
