Ayurveda Wellness Healing, LLC Organic Ghee! Was made yesterday and ready to pick up or be shipped, while supplies last!

Everything around us has an effect on something within us. The frequency of the moon affects the mind and influences our feelings, emotions, and desires. The practice of making Ghee on a full moon is considered auspicious because the moon is thought to influence “Soma” the source of nourishment, nectar, and bliss. Soma is a Sanskrit term which is derived from the root word “su” which means to energize, stimulate, expand and grow.

Think of Ghee as liquefied sunlight!
Ghee is the most refined end product of milk and one should consider using in place of butter. Because the milk solids have been removed, it has a higher smoking point than butter.

This new routine from Nia headquarters focuses, no pun intended, on the movement of the eyes and how that movement directs the rest of the body especially the spine and head.  The music for the routine is from Lis Addison.

Lis Addison is an award winning and internationally recognized Composer, Vocalist, Keyboardist and Electronic Musician who creates and records music in her Singing Tree Studio. She specializes in electronic and world music designed to inspire, empower and support healing for the individual and the natural world.

Pat Morss’ trip to Alaska in 2000

Kim Smith’s Sunday evening GMG photographs of the visiting juvenile Bald Eagle reminded me of Anne-Lise’s and my trip to Alaska in 2000.  We landed in the fishing town of Petersburg on the Seventeenth of May, which is Norway’s national holiday.  There is a large Scandinavian population there, and we were welcomed at the airport in true Viking fashion.  They were also dedicating a new statue to fishermen lost at sea, and we attended the ceremony.
Back to the Bald Eagles – they hang around the marinas on masts, waiting for fish handouts.  And the west coast Puffin is quite different from ours.

Ron Gilson’s patriotic tribute to his friend, Joe Mondello at the dory shop

A spectator packed room and observation deck at Geno’s Dory Shop, greeted Ron and Joan Gilson on this sunny, mild mid-winter afternoon for Ron’s patriotic tribute to his friend, Joe Mondello. It was to the sound of bag pipes, guitars, concertina, and mandolin, playing light, spirited music, Ron delivered his tribute to his longtime boyhood friend, Joe Mondello, on the occasion of Joe’s 93rd year.

Joe Mondello, a lifelong Gloucester cobbler, still working daily, is a proud U.S. Navy WW II veteran. Surrounded by his family and friends, he stood at attention and returned Gilson’s respectful salute while the audience sang Irving Berlin’s “God Bless America”.

Following this tribute, Mondello, “the Dog Hill legend”, and his guests shared a delicious cake, frosted with the patriotic colors of red, white and blue, as the crowd congratulated Mondello and “the band played on”!

I am Inspired by the natural beauty of Cape Ann and grateful for scenes such as this sunset on the Annisquam River. Seeing a standing heron at low tide and this sky filled with angelic clouds reflected in the water, it felt as though ‘Gifted by Grace.’

Cat Cavallini Shares Some Kitesurfing Photos From Good Harbor

I’m no Kim Smith that’s for sure, but had to send you pics, cuz I think you love all things GH too. the wind surfers were like watches dances in the clouds! It was so windy, freeze rain and gorgeous waves for them when I got to GH around 10 30 this morning.
Over sixty years ago my parents came over here from avellino Italy and our combined next door started taking us to Good Harbor every Sunday. So I’ve been going there since I could crawl 61 years ago!
Of course passed on the tradition taking my sons there too. last May we rested my oldest son Joshs ashes into the ocean from salt island where I will join him someday too. He was my twice a week Gloucester kayak buddy. Now my brother and I come up here to kayak and even though we live out Worcester way we love Glosta hope to live here someday, well I’m still alive that is, haha!
This Christmas you actually delivered a GMG calendar gift for me to my friend Hilda’s house. She had just moved to magnolia and was so thrilled that Joey actually dropped off the calendar in person! So ya, we’re all big fans.
