The Upcoming Week’s Livestream Sports Schedule From Cape ann Live 2/1-2/7

Free Streaming Nia and Restorative Yoga Classes via Zoom with Linda for the Week of Feb. 1st Nia Routine-Disney Songs Restorative Yoga Mon and Wed. 5 PM

Hot off the press, Disney Songs! I had a lot of fun finding new versions of most of these well known tunes. A few are the originals but most are new takes. I wanted to focus the routine on the hands and feet as these are the parts of the body we take the most for granted, until they are painful.
So join us and we’ll have fun singing and dancing to Disney Songs. Here’s a sneak preview of one of my favorite finds, an a cappella version of“I Wanna Be Like You”from the Jungle Book sung by DCappella.
For Restorative Yoga, find some cushions, large books, yoga blocks, blankets, whatever you can use instead of bolsters and blocks. We make it work. For more information on Restorative yoga, check out my site, niawithlinda.com. It is a lovely passive practice that gives the participant relaxation and calm. Who…

Apple Lands Gloucester Filmed ‘CODA’ In A $25 million Sundance Film Festival Record Deal
From Deadline:

In the first big deal of the 2021 virtual Sundance Film Festival, Apple has landed worldwide rights to CODA, for a number just north of $25 million. That sets a new a Sundance acquisitions record — above the $22.5 million that Palm Springs received last year from Hulu/Neon. But this time, all the premiere watching and all night auctioning was done far from the slopes of Park City. It came down to a pitched battle between Apple and Amazon.

THE LARGEST CBD BRANDS “ARE NOT” USDA ORGANIC CERTIFIED! WHY NOT?
Why is the USDA Organic seal important? You buy CBD oil for your health so it makes sense that you want to make sure it is pure.
The USDA Organic seal provides assurance that your CBD is free of pesticides, herbicides, and other unwanted chemicals.
So, why are the largest CBD brands“not”USDA Organic certified? The big brands each have annual revenues in the tens of millions of dollars, with the largest exceeding one hundred million dollars.
Isthere enough USDA Organic hemp?
It would be more expensive for the largest CBD brands to source the large quantities of hemp they buy from USDA Organic certified suppliers. By buying their hemp from non-certified suppliers, they increase their profits. Since so much non-certified hemp supplies the market, supplies of true USDA Organic hemp are limited.
The supply of USDA Organic certified hemp is not a problem for Northeast Kingdom (NEK)…

Raze’ the Roof Cabaret! Join us as we help to RAISE the funds to RAZE the roof of our Village Home 2021 AVP CABARET- A VIRTUAL EVENT
Join us on Saturday, February 27, 7pm, (suggested donation: $20) from the comforts of your own home, as your friends and neighbors attempt to make you smile, laugh- maybe even cry (or roll your eyes)! You will certainly see some familiar faces! Each year the Players entertain us with an engaging Cabaret show. Held in the Annisquam Village Hall, this show delights the sold-out crowd with songs and skits performed by our thespians. This year the Pandemic has presented us with a wonderful opportunity- a silver lining of sorts! Because we are not able to gather inside, the AVP will be performing this year’s Cabaret virtually. And to make this an even more special event, we will be donating all monies collected to the Annisquam Village Hall Association Roof Fund, as they embark upon their re-do of our beloved Village Hall. You will be hearing more from the Association very soon about this most worthy and necessary preservation. A BRIEF HISTORY (From the Annisquam Historical Society’s article: The Life and Times of the Annisquam Village Hall) The Annisquam Village Hall is a building that is extremely near and dear to all of us- it is the Heart of our Community. Since its construction in about 1828, the hall has watched the tide come and go nearly 140,000 times. It has witnessed six or more generations grow up nearby. It has hosted joy and sorrow, weddings, funerals, dances, political rallies, solemn and serious lectures, lighthearted frivolity, theater, and more. It has sheltered a sail loft, multiple stores, our local post office, our library, the Leonard Club, and other social organizations now lost to memory. Its owners have altered it, enlarged it, changed some of its windows and many of its doors. It is always just there, sort of like Squam Rock. After serving the village for nearly 200 years, it needs some help from the village. HELP US SUPPORT The AVP, like all of Annisquam, thinks of the Hall as our Village Home- the Heart of our Community. We have performed our productions here for over 100 years. Without the AVH, there would be no AVP. We would now like to give back and help the Association with the re-build of the Hall Roof. Under this roof, we build Community. Please consider supporting us as we support the AVH: o Patron: $20 (suggested donation), watch the production o Eave: $50, allows guests to watch production, their name will be listed on AVP website and scrolled at the end of the show o Soffit: $100, all the above plus name mentioned at the end of the show o Cupola: $250, all the above, plus name mentioned in the press release, added to the informational flyer and a bottle of Prosecco will be delivered (locally), to enjoy while watching the show. If you are outside of a 35-mile radius, your Prosecco will be waiting for you- on ice, this summer! (*Sponsorship must be received by February 8, 2021 to
make the initial copy. Please let us know if you would rather not have your name mentioned on flyer and in Press). THE DETAILS To watch the show: • On Saturday, February 27, starting at 7pm, Click the ‘SHOW’ link on our website, and enjoy! It’s that easy! (The show link will be available on the day of the show) • The Annisquam Village Players is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Donations are tax exempt to the extent the law allows. • Payment can be made with credit card, or by mailing a check made out to the AVP, c/o Stevie Neal, 50 Leonard Street, Gloucester, MA 01930 • If you have questions or for more information, please contact: kerrymckenna01@gmail.com
