The Grace Center Gloucester Celebrates 10 Year Anniversary
GLOUCESTER, Mass. – The Grace Center Gloucester will host a 10th Anniversary Virtual Celebration on Tuesday, December 7 at 7:00 PM. The event will highlight the Grace Center’s history, community impact, and work in helping the most vulnerable. There will be inspiring messages from the founders, organizational leaders, volunteers, and guests.
The Grace Center helps the homeless and others, including older or disabled adults, isolated community members and people at high risk or in crisis. We connect guests to critical services, as well as provide necessities of restrooms and meals.
This day resource center was founded on the values of acceptance, hospitality, and opportunity by Reverend Tom Bentley, Reverend Anne Deneen, Reverend Alice Erickson, and Father Ron Gariboldi on December 21, 2011.
With an innovative regional approach, Lifebridge North Shore expanded services to Cape Ann by bringing the Grace Center under its umbrella in 2018. Lifebridge is filling a variety of needs offering shelter, community meals, day drop-in centers, and supportive services across three locations in Beverly, Salem, and Gloucester.
“The creation of a day resource center has been an incredible addition to the Cape Ann Community,” says Lifebridge Executive Director Jason Etheridge. “This model has proven successful resulting in Lifebridge opening a Grace Center in Salem as well. We are proud to celebrate 10 years of service and grateful to all those who have made it possible along the way.”
