Leave a comment on this post if you need any and I can let you know how to get them. They cost around $80 for a new trap and the ones they are selling are all ready to go for $25. You just need lines and buoys.

Gloucester will use SeeClickFix to improve quality of life and encourage civic participation
Mayor Sefatia Romeo Theken today announced that the City of Gloucester has launched a new program that will allow residents to report quality-of-life issues and request municipal services through an online and mobile interface. Powered by SeeClickFix, the place-based reporting platform allows Gloucester residents to document neighborhood concerns and improvements, ranging from litter or flooding to damaged sidewalks and malfunctioning traffic signals.
“Gloucester is proud to provide the community with an easy-to-use web tool that helps them access services and make positive changes in the community,” said Mayor Romeo Theken.
With the online and mobile reporting platform, residents can report quality-of-life concerns through service request categories via the City of Gloucester website, mobile applications (e.g., iPhone and Android), a Facebook App, and the website SeeClickFix.com. The platform allows Gloucester residents to provide locations, descriptions, and photos of any issue, in real time. Once a resident submits a concern, the platform issues an alert that becomes public information available to any resident. This will allow the City of Gloucester to acknowledge a service request, route it to the proper department and update the request as needed, including after the matter has been resolved.
The platform also allows Gloucester residents to view, comment on, and vote to fix problems that are submitted by their neighbors. Citizens can even create their own “watch areas” to receive notifications about any category of issues in their community and subsequently follow the progress of all related service requests—not just the one they reported. Reports can be submitted and tracked from the City of Gloucester website directly (gloucester-ma.gov.) Residents will also find links to download SeeClickFix mobile applications on the City’s website.

Pop!
I was approaching my back steps and focusing a telephoto lens on these flowers when up popped a weasel. He appeared for just a few seconds three times, and I managed this quick shot on his last pop. He seemed to be staring me down, and my expression mirrored his I’d guess. I was very happy to see him, for a single weasel typically kills hundreds of mice in a year.
Have you ever seen a weasel? Fairly certain I haven’t. Is that weird that I haven’t seen a weasel?

Huge Thanks To Everyone For Last Night At The Studio
What a fantastic evening. I can’t thank enough Ken , Kerry and the rest of the Staff at The Chamber of Commerce along with Greg Halle and his staff at The Studio. It was great to have Mayor Sefatia and Mayor Kirk in attendance (two great leaders) Thank you for all the representatives from the Chamber that made it down to Rocky Neck last night as well. You all made the night one to remember for our GMG Family.
My Boy John McElhenny- our friendship runs deep my man. Your introduction was tremendous!
The room- the food-the drinks-all spot on.
The thing that makes nights like last night shine above all else is the company.
Who is richer than us to be surrounded by such loving friends and family?
If I’ve said it once I’ve said it a thousand times- I’ll take my crew over anyone else’s 100 times out of a hundred and then some!
When we work as a team and pull in the same direction for good, stuff like last night happens. Let’s keep at it!

Updated With Mobile Phone Screenshot Demo- #GloucesterMA SeeClickFix App Which Allows Citizens To Report Public Works Issues
So Mayor Theken announced that the SeeClickFix App that Sal DiStefano talked about on GloucesterCast 129 (listen here) is live! I went to the City website to find it but there wasn’t any hyperlink, just instructions that it was actually out there and live. Knowing that most people won’t follow through with a web search to go and find it and download it I’ll provide the direct links to download the app. I also produced a screenshot video from my cell phone of just how easy it is to download and use (see below).

There was a strong NE breeze and intermittent rain and fog but they raced in the lee of Eastern Point so waves and wind were not bad until way out.
The race was close as you can see from the times and the lead changed several times. The Morrisseys will be going to Canada in the end though.

Stok Drum Charcoal Grill Feature Review and Cooking Results From Joey C
$129. on Amazon. Purchase here
Features Preview Video-
Many of the features on this grill can be found on the Weber Premium Kettle Grill ($149.) But there were several things that were important to me such as cast iron grates that weren’t available and would cost about $50 alone as an upgrade to the Weber. The Stok also has interchangeable inserts and sells options that you can place in that center spot such as a wok, a veggie tray, a roaster insert and more. I probably won’t use those but the part I do like is that when the center round grate is removed there is a charcoal basket that can stay in place after the charcoal is lit to concentrate the heat in the center. You can also lift the charcoal basket out with the insert removal tool if you would like even distribution of the coals in the bottom of the grill instead of concentrating the coals in the center and cooking the food along the edges using indirect heat.
I ordered a rapidfire chimney to start the coals not realizing that the charcoal basket in the center is built as a removable chimney starter. The chimney will be returned because there’s no need for it so there’s another $15 in savings over the Weber. Starting the charcoal was as easy as placing a couple pieces of newspaper in the bottom of the charcoal basket, placing the charcoal on top and lighting the paper. It ignited and caught first try without any need for lighter fluid or charcoal soaked in lighter fluid. There is also a removable ash canister which slides into a channel under the grill and collects the spent charcoal so it won’t allow it to blow all over the deck or patio.

Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day.
Joey C!
Tuesday June 2 is National Gun Violence Awareness Day. On Tuesday, you can demonstrate your solidarity with those who wish to put a stop to gun violence by wearing orange. Just like St. Patrick’s Day. A little splash of the color will do. And they already make orange beer, even though they call it “amber.”
Read all about it at http://bookmanslog.blogspot.com/
And help with a worthwhile cause.
