Saturday, October 24th is National Drug Takeback Day. The City of Gloucester is participating with our Health Department and the Gloucester Police Department (Official) and will be accepting unneeded medications for safe disposal. You can find a list of accepted and not accepted items in our flyer, which we have in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
The event will be held from 10AM – 1PM at back parking lot/entrance of the Rose Baker Center for Aging Well Gloucester at 6 Manuel F Lewis St in Gloucester. The Gloucester Health Department will also be on site to offer free narcan and training.
If you have unused and unneeded medication that you’re looking to safely dispose of, please stop by! And if you can’t make it, please remember you can use the drop box at the Police Station at 197 Main St.
Thank you for doing your part to keep our community healthy and safe!
