The shoulder season months of September and October are my favorites of the year. And it’s the very best time to visit Russell Orchards in Ipswich. There are pick-your-own opportunities, farm animals, pumpkins and treats! I enjoy getting a cup of hot cider and some baked treats when we go. There’s always plenty of assistance if needed and there are so many choices! (They are closed on Mondays so you don’t make the same mistake I did)
