Sad day on Sunday for the Rockport House of Pizza, residences, and office space.  The response from all communities to help was overwhelming.

Helping the Rockport House of Pizza Staff and there Families.. This go fund me is for The Rockport House of Pizzas staff, just today our buisness, job and where we make a living burned down, we are at a complete loss and are not sure how we will continue, this page is looking for donations to help our employees and ourselves until we all can find something new and maybe for us to open our doors again somewhere else in town… Respectfully R.H.O.P staff.

Gloucester, MA – The Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC) is thrilled to announce YES!, the much-anticipated annual members show. This dynamic exhibition brings together an exciting and diverse collection of recent works from 72 RNAC artists, offering a stunning reflection of talent, vision, and artistic passion. With pieces spanning painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, and more, visitors will experience a rich and varied exploration of contemporary creativity—from bold abstracts to evocative realism.

About the Rocky Neck Art Colony

The Rocky Neck Art Colony (RNAC), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is dedicated to nurturing excellence in the arts through exhibitions, workshops, artist residencies, and vibrant cultural events for both members and the public. Located in the historic Rocky Neck Cultural District of Gloucester, Massachusetts, RNAC operates three unique exhibition spaces, free and open to the public.

Lobsta Land Dinner

One recent weekday, we decided to head over to Lobsta Land for dinner. Being stereotypical seniors, we prefer to go on the early side. When we arrived, we were ALMOST deterred by the number of cars in the parking lot but headed in anyhow. It was a nice day and we figured the outdoor deck was probably the draw. We were pleased to be quickly seated in the bar area as we requested. I tried something new for me: teriyaki steak tip kabobs. Jim had the paella. Our meals were served hot and efficiently. They were very tasty and the portions were just right. The bar crowd was lively so the atmosphere was easy-going. All in all, a great experience. I guess the takeaway is don’t be intimidated by the number of cars in the lot! You won’t be sorry.
