They did this once before, in 1992, when families handed over more than 600 photos that had never left their homes. This time it’s a full century of Fiesta, with the Cape Ann Museum as the partner, up while the whole city is in the street.
Your grandmother could be on that wall.
CAM will scan whatever you bring, for free, and your originals go home with you the same day.
The procession, the greasy pole, the Blessing of the Fleet, the altar, the carnival, your family standing around on Fiesta weekend. Blurry ones count.
Most photos like these leave a family when a house finally gets cleaned out. Better they end up on a wall first.
Two ways in:
🗓️ Free scanning day, Saturday, October 24, 9 AM to 1 PM, CAM Green, 13 Poplar Street
📧 Or email a scan to library@capeannmuseum.org
