Don’t miss the special exhibition at Cape Ann Museum which closes on September 27th !
It is a celebration of the works of Milton Avery ( 1885-1965) , Adolph Gottlieb ( 1903-1974) and Mark Rothko ( 1903-1970.) The three artists were friends and came to Gloucester in the summer to paint in the 1920’s to the mid 1940’s . The paintings are colorful and exciting and give you a sense of life in Gloucester at that time . You will also get a chance to see the amazing renovations in the Museum – exquisite! Enjoy !
