I think if asked the Boobies would stand up for plovers!
If the tiniest bird on the beach has the guts to tackle predators many times its size to protect its babies, I cheer for the plovers, and am proud to share the beach with them.
There’s room for all of us, just not for all of us to do everything we want to do in the same space at the same times. In this case, the needs of the vulnerable many (the plovers) very clearly outweigh the desires of the stronger few (the Boobies).
