Coming up at the Little Art! 7/24 – 7/28

July 24th & 25th at 7:00 we have Jean-Luc Godard’s Hélas Pour Moi (Oh, Woe is Me), which is the story of journalist Abraham Klimt (Bernard Verley)’s investigation of a case of divine possession. In 1989 God enters the body of filmmaker Simon Donnadieu (Gérard Depardieu) and wishes to experience human desire, pleasure and pain. You can read a nice write-up of that here.

July 26th – 27th at 7:00 then July 28th at 2:00 we have Dario Argento’s debut giallo, The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, where Sam Dalmas (Tony Musante), an American writer living in Rome, inadvertently witnesses a brutal attack on a woman (Eva Renzi, Funeral in Berlin) in a modern art gallery. Powerless to help, he grows increasingly obsessed with the incident. Convinced that something he saw that night holds the key to identifying the maniac terrorising Rome, he launches his own…
