The weather patterns for the past couple of years have been different for sure. Infrastructure costs have gone up two fold as well. I know here due to all the typhoons they power a lot more power underground but even there are high costs and potential flood zones etc…
My dad out west on his small farm uses solar arays and has a generator back-up just in case. Living on the ocean front locally have a way to cool down on the beach and lot’s of shade tree’s other locations. We used to have a lot of quarries too
