Great Americans

John McCain’s death brings to mind patriotism, so my eye (and camera) turn toward the boulevard flags. It’s worth a minute to remember these flags have been dedicated to loved ones and represent people’s hopes and lives.  Here’s in memory of Mary L. Crowingshield.

  1. The flags look so amazing on the Boulevard! It is hard to capture in a picture how great it is to see them! Even more amazing is that they are ALL dedicated to someone special! Thinking of a true American hero, John McCain, and all those dedications! Great pictures, Pat!

  2. My husband took a beautiful picture of the flags while we were in Gloucester last fall. He won a 1st place ribbon in the Greene County (Ohio) Fair this past month with that picture. We had a wonderful time in your city. Thank you.
