As long as supplies last if any GMG folks want a bumper sticker but can't drop down the dock, just send a self addressed and stamped envelope longer then 7 and a half inches and I'll drop one in the mail for you.
Send the self addressed and stamped envelope to the dock at 95 East Main St Gloucester Ma 01930 care of Joey (put my name in big letters to make sure it gets to me)

Considering the amount of cars parked on sidewalks forcing pedestrians onto the street throughout downtown, the cut bridge may not be the best place to put it.

I wanted to share a tidbit with you here why this sign may be there: In Massachusetts per this code: Article XII: Regulations for Bicycles
Section 12.1: Traffic Laws Apply to Persons Riding Bicycles Quoted out of Cambridge (TC).. I have not had a chance to review Gloucester Traffic code yet but here is link
https://library.municode.com/ma/gloucester/codes/code_of_ordinances
Every person riding a bicycle upon a roadway shall be granted all of the rights and shall be subject to all of the duties applicable to the driver of a vehicle by the laws of this state declaring rules of the road applicable to vehicles or by the traffic regulations of this city applicable to the driver of a vehicle, except as to special regulations in this article and except as to those provisions of laws and regulations which by their nature can have no application.
Over here in big problem with vehicles parking and yes driving up on sidewalks along with the following I know I have been almost run over by some on bikes: Over this way they interpret vehicles as all forms to include Bicycles, mopeds, Unicycle, Electric bikes, Gas Bikes, Solar Bikes.
This is the cut should would not want to be on it when engaged in the upright position and I am sure there are gates that come down like railroad crossings…
Keep the great observations and smiles coming…

While the signs detailing the reduced weight limit posted on the bridge were scheduled to be removed on May 21, they will be replaced with signs warning against parking vehicles along recently repaired areas near the bridge. “MassDOT will be installing signs on each corner of the bridge, prohibiting parking or traveling up on the sidewalk area,” says Verseckes.
