Went into Nelson’s to pick up some heavy warm socks, so many great items in there. We are lucky to have so many great stores to buy gifts locally.

  2. My Gosh, Herbie and Doris started that store when I was just a little girl. They were warm, wonderful people. My aunt would take me to visit them in their apartment on Main Street, and we’d order pizza next door, if I was good… And who wouldn’t be, with that yummy treat to look forward to. I can even remember the bubbled, somewhat blackened thin crust, which crackled as you bit into it. I’m glad to see the store has survived these many years.
