As long as supplies last if any GMG folks want a bumper sticker but can't drop down the dock, just send a self addressed and stamped envelope longer then 7 and a half inches and I'll drop one in the mail for you.

These photos show the breathtaking and exquisite beauty of Cape Ann that defies description! Some summer people, artists from New York, in conversation with me about the immense natural beauty of Cape Ann, used the term ‘absurd’ to describe it. I was caught off guard–I never would have used the term in that context. But when I thought about it I had to laugh out loud, because the beauty really is so much to the extreme, it defies description. Words are simply inadequate. And ‘absurd’ is quite apt, I think, to describe such extreme beauty.

Thank you! I’ve never heard the beauty of our area called “absurd” but you are right…it’s gorgeous here even on the crappiest of days…how absurd is that! lol! I’ve traveled to many places “off the island” with my camera and when I come home I’m humbled by how lucky I am to live in such surroundings!! Thanks for looking!

Artists flock to Cape Ann in droves, thanks to this beautiful scenery and light. Lucky to have the scenery, the light and the many artists and art galleries on Cape Ann. 🙂

Gorgeous photos Bridgette! I really must work on getting up earlier; the dawn light and sense of peace is stunning.

Thanks Karen…it’s clearly the most beautiful time of day but much more so later in the summer when the sun rises after 6 am lol!
