      1. Donna,

I will be 100% this area is a pet peeve for me too! :-O

Mom, was tough and she saw us throw something on the ground it was is that where that goes, response no, well then put it where it does! This way it’s more than just children it’s adults who should know better! What get’s me is the trash location is no more than 50 feet from where they are just leaving it or throwing it down. The park for example has older folks and myself picking up after them it does get old but it’s better than walking by broken, glass, and trash blowing around the area (this is a children park used by all the who live in area or passing through.

One issue that contributes is removal of a lot of disposable trash cans and centralizing location a block or two away people today will not walk a block to throw it away properly so much is tossed by those who are transitory as they do no have to live in the area or do they care about those they impact! OK, I am climbing off the soapbox air is too thin up there! The end user is most responsible for doing the right thing bring it in bring it out and show consideration for others! 🙂 Children are always looking to you for example even when you think they are not watching or observant make it a good one! 🙂

        1. Dave, so true, my mother would have grounded me if I threw anything on the ground. Sometimes things do blow all over but cigarette butts are on purpose. m Everyone talks about being greener but they need to be cleaner. Stay well
