Italian Easter Bunny Egg Cookies have been a tradition in our family my whole life! Grandma Felicia and Nona Rose and Aunt FeFe Militello always shaped them into Easter Bunnies for the kids and Easter Baskets for the adults. Both are fun, delicious, and a must have sweet treat…

My grandma (Nonnie) made a similar cookie for us – but she made very large ‘dollies’ – we call them the dolly cookies. Now we all also continue the tradition and make them every Easter for our family. We put a raw egg in the cookie and it bakes in the oven with the cookie. We love ’em!
