I am hoping you can post the attached flyer for the Gloucester / Cape Ann Chapter of Learn to Cope. Learn to Cope is confidential peer led support group for family members struggling with a loved one’s addiction to opiates (oxycontin, heroin, percocet, vicodin etc.) and/or other drugs. It’s a very special group and a tremendous community resource. Members get support and learn practical life saving skills such as how to recognize and respond to an overdose, how to get trained in nasal Narcan and use it if needed to reverse an overdose, how to navigate the treatment system etc. Our hope is that more people who are struggling with a loved one’s addiction realize they are not alone, and that there is hope.
