It looks to me like there was a change. If you look in the left of the frame in the picture above there is a square window. But in the pictures that were taken earlier it seems that it was framed out for a door in this location.

That’s the amount of hours I conservatively estimate we’ve spent searching for The Bean’s blankie (she calls it her night-night or Lola). It’s getting close to when we will have to seperate her from the ratty blankie she loves so much and believe me I’m dreading that day like none other. For now though, every time we leave the house we have to go searching high and low for that blankie. Oy!

Set in the insular world of Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, TWO LOVERS is a classic romantic drama, with Joaquin Phoenix giving a raw and vulnerable performance as Leonard, a charismatic but troubled young man who moves back into his childhood home following a recent heartbreak. While recovering under the watchful eye of his parents (Isabella Rossellini and Moni Monoshov), Leonard meets two women in quick succession: Michelle (Gwyneth Paltrow), a mysterious and beautiful neighbor who is exotic and out-of-place in Leonard’s staid world, and Sandra, the lovely and caring daughter of a businessman who is buying out his family’s dry-cleaning business.
Leonard becomes deeply infatuated by Michelle, who seems poised to fall for him, but is having a self-destructive affair with a married man. At the same time, mounting pressure from his family pushes him towards committing to Sandra. Chamber’s Spring Fling
Cape Ann Chamber Businesswomen will host this year’s Spring Fling on Tuesday, May 5, 5 to 7:30 p.m., at Latitude 43, 25 Rogers St. Terri Trespicio, senior editor at Martha Stewart’s “Body & Soul” magazine, will present “Take Back the Reins: Simple and Surprising Ways to Stay Balanced and Whole When Times Are Tough.” Trespicio also hosts a daily radio program called “Whole Living.” In collaboration with seArts Wearable Arts group, attendees will have an opportunity to wear — and possibly buy — accessories made by local artists. Sponsored by Cape Ann Savings Bank Trust Department, Rockport National Bank and TD Banknorth, the event will feature a Cinco de Mayo supper of quesadillas, nachos and salads. Cost is $25 per person. Spaghetti dinner
A spaghetti dinner fundraiser to benefit the Gloucester High School girls softball program will take place Tuesday, May 5, 5 to 7 p.m., at The Fish Shack restaurant in Rockport. Beautiful Industry- Dory Plug
These plugs went into the bottom of the dories that Grand Banks Dory Fishermen used back in the old days. They were used to drain water from the dories once they were brought back aboard the schooners. But they also served another purpose. Geno tells me that the loop that comes off the bottom was used in case the dory flipped over in the ocean. Capsized, there would be nothing for the dory fisherman to hold on to once the dory was upside down. So that loop which would be through the bottom of the boat would be used for the capsized fisherman to pull himself onto the upside down boat in the water.
