So where do people like to get their fried clams?
I remember The Cupboard having pretty goods ones last year.

I hate to admit it but when I was a teen I used to ride by and yell…RED TIDE! Most of those tourists didn’t have a clue, they thought is was a football cheer! Some even yelled back…GO TIDE!!!

The lines are MUCH longer at the Clam Box in
Ipswich. I really like their clams, too. Woodman’s
has great clams, I think, but in addition, they have the BEST tartar sauce around here.
The VERY BEST tartar sauce and clams can be
found at the Clam Shack in Kittery Maine, in my
opinion. Any other suggestions out there?

Joey! I just laughed my ass off at the photo, because we are indeed sheep, aren’t we. Woodmans is like extra grease upon grease (just look at the box when you are done), whereas Farnhams has NO grease in the box when you are done. My husbands favorite place is the Cupboard, and you can’t beat sitting on the rocks to enjoy.
thanks for the Baa.
PEACE!

Baa humbug! I just don’t get it, but hey, it’s an olde Essex tradition. I prefer Farnham’s or The Cupboard, too.

I love it. I remember when I use to be able to get the big belly clams at the beach. The place was called Footes and they were great. Cape Ann was on Chronicle the other night. It was pretty good. They showed Woodmans and talked about Farnham’s. Check spelling. …LOL…
