Plenty of birds around this morning with the (relatively) better weather.

It’s winter-the kids are inside most of the time. If you have children and they’re flapping like a haddock (or maybe you are!), here are some ideas to keep the whole family happy. Visit Flapping like a Haddock for updates, parenting info, family activities, and things to do around Cape Ann.
Astronomy Night at Halibut Point State Park
The proposal included a right of way for fishermen to get to the waterfront and the dockage to be maintained for the fleet, not pleasure boats. It also would have had all under deck parking for downtown and a linkage that currently isn’t all that strong with the buildings on Rogers street being an afterthought. To see it larger and in greater detail click the pic and select “all sizes”

This is what we could have had instead of the weed infested I4C2 lot in between the Gloucester House and The Building Center. Public access, public parking, and not to mention probably millions in tax revenue and jobs.

The boys didn’t seem to happy to be going out this morning. With the cold water temperatures the catches fall off dramatically. Tough to get motivated when you know you’re not going to make a whole lot of dough.
