Myron will be selling raffle tickets at Cape Seafood for this prize pack of Topsfield Fair award winning pickles at Cape Seafood on The State Fish Pier.  The tickets are only a buck each and that’s a whole lot of pickle goodness right there!

Salted Pogies

This is what pogies look like after they have sat around for a while, salted in drums or vats.  They turn brownish and a bit stinky but are still good for lobster bait when the herring boats don’t go fishing  due to full quotas or spawning closures.

City Hall Gingerbread House At Art Haven

If you have children and have been waiting to see what is going on at Art Haven, today is the day to head down there and check it out!   There is ice sculpting, and buoy painting and tree lighting and an incredible amount of activity that will be beginning at 10:00AM.

David Brooks the director has got it going on in this Main Street Space in the Action Inc building next to Browns Mall.  Video with all the details coming at 9:00AM today.

Over the 30 plus years of working down the dock I’ve worn all types of boots.  These are by far the greatest boots I’ve ever owned.  They are warm and comfortable and they are molded in one piece so there is no liner that would smoosh down and bunch up down by your toes.
