7th Grade CAYBB Team
My View of Life on the Dock
The unsung hero of lacrosse is the Goalie, the one who is the last line of defense, the one who takes the outcome of a games loss to heart but shares in the glory of the win. CAYL Girls Lacrosse Director/Coach and All Star Goalie, Meghan MacLaughlin (front row blue jersey)held a Goalie Clinic for both High School and Cape Ann Lacrosse Youth players last night at GHS. Meghan’s lacrosse legacy started in the 6th Grade was a 4 year starting goalie at Pingree, then recruited to play for the University of Richmond at Virginia. The Clinic was a success, CAYL would like to thank, Meghan, all the Goalies and the Lacrosse players that helped out. The Lacrosse season starts in April, so go out enjoy the warm weather and watch a game or two of Lacrosse!
The GHS Girls Basketball team season came to an end with loss to Danvers in the 1st round of the playoff’s. These young ladies play the entire season with their HEARTS & SOULS.
This is a special place to sit and think.
On Saturday Jan 19th 9 teams descended upon Fuller & Green Street fields to do what this community does best, support each other in the time of need. The Game, Flag Football, the cause to support Phil Palminteri in his time of need. With over 140 players and many spectators this day was a great success.
