The colors of Mother Nature

As we are practicing social distancing and staying safe, always need to get outside and enjoy our beautiful area where we live.

A stranded deer in the rocks and ocean on Shore Road

As I got there was told there were four deer swimming from Kettle Island and got caught up in the current and were tired.  Three were able to swim towards Magnolia Beach, this poor one, people thought she may be the mom, was stuck in the rocks with the current.  The Environmental Police, Gloucester Police and Animal Control were trying to help.  The Environmental police officer stated that because the tide was coming in hopefully she could get herself back on Shore.  Also I must add, there were three young boys on the rocks named Theo, Kellen and Owen who were so kind and very helpful to the Environmental police.  Hope this deer is ok.

My favorite afternoon view

Try to get to beach everyday to sit and read.  This week had to wear a parka and hat, and of course social distancing love to sit at the beach and read and relax.

Coolidge Point and Shore Road on a Monday afternoon

Taking a walk to Magnolia Beach on Monday the clouds and ocean looked so pretty.

Beautiful Shore Road

When walking to the beach on Saturday with a lovely mask on, the waves were white with foam especially when a dark cloud fell over the wave.

Pretty morning on Tuesday

Before the weather changed on Tuesday walked to the post office with a mask and social distancing, the weather was beautiful and the waves were making another appearance.

Beautiful Easter Sunday afternoon

With a different type of Easter with no family visiting for Easter, we did some yard work and then walked to the beach.  Other walkers were very considerate and no congregating.  Most walkers were wearing masks and I find people are polite.  Stay safe and stay healthy.

Beautiful day on Tuesday

Had to get outside to get some vitamin D and fresh air with of course social distancing.  The ocean seems to telling us everything will be ok.

Waves from Shore Road and Magnolia Beach

During these difficult times, mother nature is showing her beauty with the wave formation.

White waves, stormy seas, blue skies on Shore Road

Taking a walk on Shore Road on Tuesday the sky and ocean were sending a message of calmness.

Low tide off Shore Road

With responsible social distancing, we are blessed to be able to take a walk on the Coast Line.

Magnolia Point on Friday afternoon

We all need to get outside for some Vitamin D of course with social distancing.

Real progress on the Magnolia Pier, pretty Shore Road and a Stand Up Paddle boarder

On a beautiful Wednesday took a walk to to the beach.  There were many people out walking with proper distance.  The Pier looks great, Shore Road is so pretty and love the fact there was a paddle boarder off Kettle Island.  It does not take us hardy New England citizens to adapt as soon as the sun is out.  Beautiful day.

Friday’s waves, rain and then sunshine

Love living on Cape Ann,  weather can change within 3 hours.  Also the ocean smell is amazing.
