I Love You Snoop Maddie Mad

When The Mrs was pregnant with Snoop Maddie Mad, The Bean (Eloise) was 22 months old just before she was born.

I remember thinking to myself that I had no idea how I would ever love another baby as much as The Bean and I felt sorry for the unborn baby in my wife’s belly.  

Madeline while being completely different than The Bean in almost every way is just as loved, something I never thought possible before she was born.  Snoop Mad is crazy and is obviously missing the fear gene.  The Bean is a direction follower and semi neurotic like me and Snoop Maddie Mad is a complete maniac who acts first and thinks later.  There is no healthy dose of fear in her, lol.

One of the Bean’s favorite pastimes on the beach- chasing gulls. She would run and run and run. I’d just keep telling her she was really close to getting them and she woud keep on chasing.

Crab Traps, Naples Florida

They pour cement in the bottom of the crab traps so they will land bottom first once set off the boat.  This way they will fish properly.  Very few lobstermen pour cement in the bottom of lobster traps but I have seen it here and there.  The prefered method of weighting a lobster trap is with bricks.  This is another difference between lobster traps and crab traps.

Below Transom Lights

My buddy down in Naples just installed these crazy lights under the transom of his boat. Pretty wild to see how the fish are attracted to it. I’d love to get a piece of the company that manufactures them, its cool as hell. Click the arrow to see the video. Pretty badass Deano, I’m looking forward to going out for a rip next winter!

Down in Old Naples the Bad Ass Coffee Co serves up some decent Kona coffee. Of course in a town ruled by blue hairs there is the inevitable call to shut the place down due to it’s name.

Lighten up folks and get a sense of humor, would ya?

I love the fact that when you ask for an iced coffee they break out the ice cubes made out of coffee as to not dilute the product. That’s some cool ass shiznit!
