Somehow, lost in the beauty of Essex’s Conomo Point with views of open water, far away dunes and the Essex River, the boathouses and barns can slip into the background.

Sun Sets on a Short Drive Home…
You can question my haphazard route, but it’s hard to question the picturesque nature of where we live. Amazing. Home to Manchester from Gloucester, via Magnolia.

Manchester Essex Football Win 22-8 Make Championship Tournament!
With a 22-18 win over the Amesbury Indians Friday night at Hyland Field, the Manchester Essex Hornets secured their place in the post season playoffs. Coming from behind several times in the game, the Hornets fought back and put it away with a touchdown and 2 point conversion with less than 40 seconds left to play. A key to the win had to be the late 4th quarter defensive stop made by the Hornets on a 3rd and VERY short attempt by Amesbury setting up the offense with good field position and just enough time.
Jobs, Jobs, Jobs!! Me a Neurologist!
I seem to get on lists like this listing great and sometimes questionable job opportunities, but this one I might have to check out! 5 POINTZ – Aerosol Art Center
I was in New York for a couple of days and read about the Aerosol Art Center at 45 Davis Street in Long Island City. A mecca for graffiti (Aerosol Art) where the building owner has allowed artists to put their work on the walls of this 200,000 SF property. Organized through 5Pointz, permits have been awarded to the artists and each work stays for a set time and then is replaced with a new creation. Unfortunately, the property is now scheduled for demolition to make way for a couple of new condo towers, so i headed over to get some pictures before it is gone. If in NYC this is worth checking out! Great artwork and a unique setting!

Representing in New York City
While in New York recently I checked out a fruit and vegetable cart at 93rd and 2cnd. Got to speak with a few other people at the cart too. Overall pretty grumpy crowd of former football and baseball fans… Even though they decided I was not to be liked, I was allowed to represent GMG!
Hanging Around at Prince Insurance
A great window display! Walk by 15 Washington Street in Gloucester for a great Fall scene. The window display is better than the pictures but I admit got caught in a “Peter Pan” moment seeing the boy floating…

Local Scenes from Manchester and Essex
The view over Winthrop Field towards the farm in Manchester has been taken many times, but does not get old, at least not for me. In Essex I sat waiting in the Marsh across from Farnham’s for hours to catch the Egret in flight.. Well, actually I picked up Chowda and walked across the street and there he was, ready to take off! Sometimes you just get lucky! Click on images for larger view.
