James Eves Creating “Photos from Memory” with Felicia
Cape Ann Giclee’s James Eves is creating photos from Felicia’s childhood memories for her forthcoming cookbook. Using a current photo of an updated house, the ultra-talented James has removed the contemporary fencing and younger trees and instead, he has replaced with the previous owner’s original lovely shrub hedge, flower plantings, and cheery shutters.
Whatever your heart desires–photo retouching, photo recreating, fine art photo printing, and painting reproduction needs–James Eves is THE MAN!

Why Having Your Digital Images Reproduced At Cape Ann Giclee Is A No-Brainer
I have been so excited the past few days. The reason is when as an artist you feel proud of the work you are producing it’s just a great feeling. I knew the images I selected for our show at Alchemy Thursday night were some of my favorites but when James printed them and I saw the colors he was able to reproduce with his 11 color machine it took my excitement t a whole new level.
I’m thrilled, just thrilled to be working with James and Anna Eves at Cape Ann Giclee.
hope to see all our friends at the opening Thursday night from 5:30-7:30 at Alchemy for EJ and My “Two Buddies” Show.

I have never been so proud of the work that I’ll be presenting at Alchemy Thursday for my show with EJ- The Two Buddies Show.
I Can’t Wait For The Show!!!!
We will be doing a ton of collaborating with James and Anna Eves in their awesome artists space at Cape Ann Giclee- A TON! If you are a photographer you owe it to yourself to swing on down to their shop at 20 Maplewood Ave, bring your memory stick with any digital images you’d like to have made into a canvas wrap and James would love to sit down with you to enhance or show you all the different possibilities to bring that image to life on your wall. There’s no better gift. Take some snapshots of your children bring the camera in to James and he can take the memory stick out and work his magic right from there. Bottom Line- No Brainer Easy Peasy Gift. Done! (or buy one of EJ or my pieces at the Alchemy show where 10% of the sales go to the Gloucester Education Fund)

Meet the new Cape Ann Giclee! Cape Ann’s Only giclee shop. They provide affordable, professional fine art printing services for photographers and artists. Their specialty is in color matching to make sure they are producing artists’ work accurately.
Owners, Anna & James Eves, showing off some of their work.
With years of experience in printing and finally moving their business out of their basement they have a new shop at 20 Maplewood Ave. in Gloucester. Printing on their Epson printer, with 12 inks, gives them lots of color flexibility. They use many different papers to print on including eco-friendly bamboo and metallic photo paper and are open to experimenting on different mediums with artists. They offer competitive pricing with on demand printing options. So, you don’t have to ship out your artwork or order 100s of prints. You can even 1 at a time for a customer and have it shipped to your customer’s home.
Artist, Sefan Mierz is one of their very happy customers! He was so happy with his giclee order and amazed by how well the colors matched the original oil.
Stefan is one of the artists at the Art Nook in Rockport (Stop by The Art Nook’s Grand Opening this Saturday http://art-nook.com/). See more of Stefan’s work on his Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/artbystefan
Cape Ann Giclee will be turning their space into a work zone/gallery featuring many of their client’s pieces. They are considering offering some informational sessions as well to help the local artist community.
Michael McDougall’s paintings will be shown in the Cape Ann Giclee gallery. Here you can see his paintings along with the matching giclees. Check out those colors!
Jame & Anna hope to be hosting a grand opening event on or around August 1st. Stay tuned for more info on that and stay tuned for the video interview with Anna & James…
