Magnolia Pier
One of my most photographed subjects is the magnolia pier. Seeing it in its current state makes me sad but I know the people involved in the reconstruction will get her back to normal as soon as they can. For those that don’t know the Pier was severely damaged during the last few storms with damaging surf dismantling it making it unsafe .
Red Skies
This was taken last summer after a quick thunder storm rolled through. The intense colors that came after were breath taking the marsh at low tide created these pools that absorbed the colors, Corliss Landing, a spot that never disappoints for sunsets.
Summer Dreaming
Waking up early this morning to go catch sunrise I heard the wind and decided to not go shoot,, yes I’m a fair weather photographer, well only when it’s March and the temperatures in the teens with wind chill.. I hope you enjoy this sunset shot from Colby Farm taken last September
Beacon Sunset
Driving around the back shore in Gloucester there are so many incredible views of our gorgeous town, this scene is no different. As I approached the Beacon Marine the light was changing fast I knew there wasn’t much time so I quickly pulled over and grabbed gear and set up through the railings just in time,
Moon Lit
Sometimes things just line up for you. While watching and waiting for our Snowy Owl to take flight and hunt,, she landed on this telephone pole perfectly aligned with the moon..
Calm Before the Storm
This image was taken last Thursday before the storm came through, Long Beach did not look the same for the next few days.
Also a big thank you to Joey for making me part of the team. Hoping to share a lot more of my images with you all thank you for the support
Last Light Annisquam
4 minute exposure just after the sun had disappeared love capturing the lingering light this way as it gives the clouds the streak affect.
I also want to thank Joey for giving me this opportunity as the featured artist for the month of February. And also to all of you for the lovely comments and likes.
Tomorrow March 1st through the month i will have 6 pieces at the gallery area at Addison Gilbert Hospital here in Gloucester
And will also have 7 pieces hanging in Gallery above the Schooners Market in Essex through the month of March,,
Thank you everyone,

Steel wool

In the Woods
Walking in Ravenswoods i heard sounds when I turned and this is what i saw,, probably not a good idea to walk around up there at night.
This is my version of portrait photography my niece was a good sport of going with an idea I️ had and rocked the shoot..
Screech
I also love to photograph wildlife,, i had found this screech owl about a month ago and have visited the tree a few times sense.i knew once the snow started Thursday I️ had to get a shot with the falling snow, and thankfully he was just sitting there..
Morning Glow
Wednesday mornings sunrise looked like it was going to be fogged out. So I decided to turn around and go to work when this happened. Shot from the truck handheld
Fire in the Sky
As i made my way to the left of the Lanescove wall i couldn’t believe how the sky looked,, burning oranges just appeared and i set up quick and took the shot before it was gone
Empire Alley
While out walking around taking night photos i turned around and saw this. Had to set up and take the shot. The shadows, light and the lines all came together pretty well.
Island Marsh
Can’t wait for summer.. loved everything about this setting, the sky, the marsh , the dingy
Hodgkins Cove
The lighting for this shot worked out pretty well. Not sure why i had never photographed this before.
Soft Glow
Once I saw the hollowed out skiff I knew it needed to be photographed before someone removed it. Long exposure with soft skies and Magnolia Pier as a backdrop.
Last Light
Annisquam Lighthouse is one of my favorite places to catch the sunset. Standing in knee deep water just to catch the light and reflection just right.
Frozen
Sometimes flowers look better while they’re frozen. Black Eyed Susan’s that we’re frozen then photographed
Smokey Peir
This is a long exposure taken at noon using a piece of weld glass. Magnolia Pier
