Tropical Storm Irene from Stage Fort Park 08/28/2011

Tropical Storm Irene from Stage Fort Park 08/28/2011

Probably one of the dumbest thing i’ve done. Walked out to the cannons. The trees were being bent over by the wind and the sea spray was washing up to the benches. Approx. wind speed 60mph. After I took a few photos and short video, I was walking back to my car and had to dodge a few flying tree branches. Not to bright but I never pretended to be.

Please remember, I went to the Ed Collard school of Videography.

I think I made him PROUD!

Video- Dory Rowing Gloucester Harbor With Joey and Kyle

Filmed Using The Kayalu nClamp and Kodak Zx3

Loving these Kayalu clamps. The ball heads are completely interchangeable between the suction head RAM Mount and The nClamp so you can mount a camera in just about any situation. The things that get me goin, I swear I’m such a geek.

What are we doing to beat the heat?
GLOUCESTER HARBOR WATER SHUTTLE

0721011555

Ice cream on Rocky Neck, snack and drink at Sailor Stan’s, then hopped on
the water shuttle from the Studio–to beat the heat and enjoy the gorgeous
harbor! Note: Studio was jumping and drinks there next time sans children.
Small craft warning provided a little chop, PERFECT, kids on the edge with
the excitement by the SJ Landing as Coast Guard responders raced off,
2 thrilled to holler to their dad’s fishing boat, and amazing views all
around, the paint factory, the spires (UU, Our Ladys, St Ann’s and City
Hall)and other local landmarks that we’re used to seeing from shore. Next
time we’ll go longer: hop on hop off with spots and snacks all different
places; highly recommend! Fixed landing by St. Peter’s easiest/safest
boarding for any shaky legs.

Fort “Art, Rock!” Found!!

The “Art, Rock!” I was inspired to sketch by my Father was found Saturday at the Fort Playground.  Janey Brancaleone and her Dog Lola Were walking at the Fort Saturday when Lola sniffed Out the Rock under one of the Park Benches at the Playground. It’s a Beautiful and underated place to watch the Harbor action go by.

Art Critics can be Tough. But I think I passed Lola’s Art Test. She Sniffed the Rock out and didn’t Pee on it! what Artist could ask for more?  That will be the one Art review that I will cherish for a long Time! 🙂

Thanks Again Janey and Lola.

“Little Sandra” from Glenn AKA “Swimdad”

This is a great photo from Glenn. AKA “Swimdad” A Gloucester Fishermam now residing in the great State of California. Glenn is one on my biggest supporters when my posts get a little carried away. I always appreciate his support. Your right Glenn “we’re getting F’N Old!”

From Glenn AKA “Swimdad”;

Hi Paul;        I have been trying to get this pic to you but had to wait till I got a new all in one printer.  The person who took this got in touch with Matt and wanted to know if anyone would like copies back in 1978, never did get the persons name.  That’s me on the left, Tommy in the middle, Matt on the winch and Skipper Mike in the pilot house.

Almost 33 years ago, boy are we getting fuck’n old

Glenn

Thanks again always for your support and this great Photo!
