David Cox Shooting After The Storm on The Back Shore

For lunch yesterday my buddy David Cox and I went down to the Back Shore to catch some of the beautiful scenery for our viewers.  I’m guessing David was up all last night editing his stuff as he normally does.  Here’s David doing what he loves most-

David Cox’ Main Street Art and Antiques 1/31/10

Lot’s of treasures to be found in here.  Great gift idea-  David has just about every issue of Time Magazine dating wayyyy back.  Ask to buy the copy that was from the week your friend or loved one was born.  A great present as that person won’t soon forget how thoughtful you were.  They can see exactly what was going on in the world the week they were born.

David Cox’ Very Organized Workspace At Main Street Art and Antiques

Behind David Cox’ desk on the wall hangs a picture of Nick’s pool Hall which was located in the space occupied by Main Street Art and Antiques over 20 years ago.

I would say that I’ve heard at least four different people at different times ask how much that picture would cost to purchase but it is not for sale.

It sure is a beautiful picture.

Steam Tug Goteborg Hamn Print at Main Street Art and Antiques

I was going to buy this print for my buddy Monkeyfist at CascoBayBoaters and now gCaptain but it came from the office of David Cox’ dad and is not for sale.  Cool print though.

David Cox At Main Street Art and Antiques Headquarters

When David isn’t out covering Gloucester Sports or events for GMG he is busy at his shop Main Street Art and Antiques in the heart of beautiful Downtown Gloucester. When I snapped this photo I wasn’t sure if he was making a deal for a priceless piece of furniture or talking up one of his many lady callers.  The women just love him don’t you know.
