Clever reopening design at Blume. Customers step up to a custom order booth tucked into the door frame; the pick up window was moved to the right. Bakery goods are displayed in the windows. The signature pink floor shines through.
I hope they add pink lanterns to the tree 🙂

Step through the cheery pink door of Blume Coffee (“Flour Shop”) aside Mayflour Cakes & Confections at Whistlestop mall in Rockport Friday through Sunday for specialty coffees, teas, and hot chocolate (with to die for marshmallows), and not to miss Mayflour Confections daily bake treats.
Cape Ann has so many great scone options with its stellar bakeries–there could be a scone trail!
Classic housemade strawberry, chocolate and vanilla ice cream milkshakes at Happy Belly 3 Duncan Street, Gloucester, MA. Whip cream is homemade, too!
Fresh baked bread and bakery treats are excellent. Large loaves ciabata coming out of the oven in just about an hour…

After the chill of early morning filming, my favorite place to stop along the way home is Brothers Brew. The coffee is really, really good–smooth, flavorful, never bitter, and always super fresh (even the decaf). Their housemade doughnuts, TO-DIE-FOR!
Brothers Brew’s current seasonal selection of delicious donuts includes apple cider and pumpkin glaze.
