2010 Season Opener was SOLD OUT with over 1,600 fans! With a season full of double-headers, we expect the same turnout for March.Bout #1: Sees the Wicked Pissahs take on Season Three Champs the Nutcrackers. Fresh off 100-point victory over the Cosmonaughties, The Pissahs are hoping for a repeat. Will 2010 be another Year of the Nut, or can the two-time champion Pissahs bring back the championship … fo’ life?

Bout #2:The evening continues with an exciting rematch. The Boston vs. Carolina rivalry is so fierce, it was a nominee for best rivalry in Derby News Network’s Best of 2009 Reader Poll. With Carolina defeating Boston in two consecutive heartbreakers, Boston was able to avenge those losses with a crushing defeat at the 2009 WFTDA Eastern Regionals. Without a trip to Nationals, Carolina is well-rested and ready for revenge.
Half time show features live music and as always, the after party dance floor is open to all, with DJ John Barera spinning until midnight.
The Boston Derby Dames are Boston’s first and only all-female, DIY, skater-owned and operated flat track roller derby league and proud members of the Women’s Flat Track Derby Association.

Opening games for February 9th, 2008, February 28th, 2009 drew crowds topping 1,600 fans and with a season full of double-headers, we expect a turnout for the February 27th, 2010 opener to be bigger than ever.
Bout #1: The Massacre taks on their sisters to the south, Providence’s Rhode Island Riveters. The two teams have a long history dating back to both leagues’ founding, and both teams want to bring home a win.

The Massacre Holds A Comfortable Lead Over The RMRG
Last night was DERBY NIGHT!!!!! WOOT! The Boston Massacre beat up on the visiting Rocky Mountain Roller Girls who proved to be no match for the Massacre. The Massacre played with a lot of pent up aggression after suffering losses in their last couple bouts. Plenty of pics and videos to come this week.
I can’t even begin to describe how fun these bouts are to watch. There is an incredible amount of positive energy from the fans and competitors. The music rocks, the action is fast and hard hitting. You owe it to yourself to check out the next bout.
