My View of Life on the Dock

Marine biologist, (Gareth) “Phillips said conditions have to be just right for the reef to erupt — it only happens at night, several days after a full moon, the ocean must be calm and water temperatures above 26 degrees for a full month.”
Kristy Sexton-McGrath, “Great Barrier Reef Explodes with Life…“. ABC. 11/23/2021

“…This spawning event is another sign that the reef is recovering, it is not all doom and gloom for the reef, it is looking amazing and it is very encouraging to see it bouncing back.”

Ron and his lovely wife from Harrisburg Pennsylvania, stopped by to pick up 20 lobsters at Rockport Lobster Company, before heading back home. Ron recently visited Australia, and picked up a “CROCODILE GANDHI” hat made from Kangaroo hide.
During their stay in Gloucester they watched Captain Muniz from the F/V Lily off load a tuna yesterday, they were hoping to pick up the Tuna Head to take back home as well; however it was long gone.
A most enjoyable encounter with Ron and his wife.

Hi Joey,
Sarah Cafasso is serving in the Peace Corps on a remote island in the Philippines. Her mom Carol arranged for them to meet in New Zealand and spend the holidays in Australia. They did not forget to bring "homie" with them! Sarah has one more year left in Southern Leyte, Hinundayen, Philippines, helping the community protect and utilize their fishing resources. Her vacation was much needed and well deserved. Here are a few shots with the GMG stickah! Thanks!
