Bonfire

Rockport’s Annual 4th of July bonfire is pretty special.  We almost didn’t go this year.  I’m glad we decided to stick with tradition and keep the party bus rolling.

Thank you to the firefighters who helped keep the towering flames in check to keep everyone safe!

Part of Horribles Parade..Annisquam 4TH

Missing a part of the horribles parade…will try to correct later….

In Gloucester: Fireworks. Rockport: We light the outhouse on fire.

Small dragon comes out of the outhouse. Becomes much bigger and rids Rockport of arm hair.

Even from this distance, this bonfire is making Rubber Duck cry propylene tears

Everyone who used to be closer now has no hair on their arms. That is when you move back.

Shuttle Smiles from the Fourth

A great way to spend the 4th is in Gloucester Harbor hop-on-hop-off  water shuttle operated by Cape Ann Harbor Tours.

Rockport Firemen’s 4th of July Parade

The Rockport Firemen’s 4th  of July Parade is always pretty reminiscent of a Norman Rockwell scene. If you’re looking for a big parade with giant floats…this is not for you.  But if you love quaint and old-fashioned it is the ticket.

CAN YOU GUESS WHAT TODAY IS??

It’s always amazing to drive around town the morning of the Fish Town Horribles Parade and see all the empty chairs and decorations! All of these shots were taken with my iPhone while fighting through traffic to drop off stuff at our GMG party corner. So this one is for all those folks who are not home, or moved out of town, enjoy! Now stop by the GMG tent and party with us!!!
