Magnolia Library needs your help

The Magnolia Library & Community Center needs your help! We are applying for a CPA Grant to replace windows, doors, the bulkhead, and do light repairs on our back steps. If you support us in this effort, please click the below link and fill out the short survey (30 seconds max of your time). Community support is very important in the grant process.
Remember – CPA money is something that is already part of our tax bill here in Gloucester. This is nothing new that we are asking you to pay into.

Please Do Not Feed the Animals

I love this bright red barn and had some extra time to take a few photos of it yesterday while waiting for Thatcher. I got a good laugh when I realized that I captured Finn at the other end. The sign says, “Please do not feed the animals”…..but, Finn had just finished his Chipotle. Oops.

Beautiful Day on Eastern Point

I took my (new!) camera out for some experimentation on a beautiful day recently. There’s lots to learn, but I see lots of potential in this new equipment.

Apologies and Clarification — pat morss

In my earlier posting today about the Titanic and Golden Plover, strange things happened. If you signed into the live GMG site my typed link became an image from the article – you need to click on this image to reach the whole article. If you read the daily email version, my typed link became a large grainy mug shot of me – click on it to get to the whole article. Sorry about that!

Yellow Pansies on Stacy Boulevard

Thank you Generous Gardners for planting beautiful flowers all over our city.  On Saturday while walking the Boulevard the yellow pansies glowed against the cloudy skies.

Looking forward to walking Stacy Boulevard as all the beautiful flowers start to bloom.

Thank you again Generous Gardners.

Maybe Piping Plover was not served on Titanic — pat morss

My son-in-law sent me this link to an article that suggests the menu posted yesterday (April 10) on GMG under “Did you know Piping Plover was on the menu of the Titanic as she left Southhampton” actually referred to Golden Plover, served to the crew.
